Anyone know about this question?

What is biosphere 1, and I want more than just the earth. quote unquote. that was my teachers words for a question can any of you help please?

YOU need to give it some thought (your assignment). When many people think of "earth" they think only that it refers to the physical structure of a planet. What is it about "earth" that would lead us to call it "biosphere 1"? What part of your answer might involve things outside of or beyond the earth? - Marshman

The Eden Project

Shouldn't the Eden Project have a mention in here?

Wrong unit of energy used

Quote: "Regarding energy, it is an open system, with photosynthesis capturing solar energy at a rate of around 130 terawatts per year." The expression of energy rate as "terawatts per year" is wrong, as energy has the dimension of effect times time, so the unit is Watt times Second, stated as Joule. "energy rate" (that is, energy per time unit) has the unit Watt. The statement uses faulty units, the correct units cannot be deduced from the sentence. Fixed. Also, looked up the ref and put in the correct figure (100 TW rather than 130).Rocknrollsuicide (talk) 22:22, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
