FCC regulation on advertisement time

[edit]

In the section History, sub-section Early Infomercials is stated: " limits imposed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on the amount of advertising that could appear during an hour of television"

As far as I could find on my research such thing never happend. The FCC never regulated advertesing time, except during children programs. The only rules that existed were a self-regulation from the industry based on the Code of Practices for Television Broadcasters, also known as the Television Code.

I suggest that this information is removed form the article. Aabraga (talk) 15:13, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
