This building does actually have a (somewhat) notable history; it was originally built as the headquarters for Cities Service (Citgo) when that now-controversial oil giant left New York and Bartlesville and consolidated operations in Tulsa. For many years its brightly lit white exterior was one of Tulsa's most distinctive nighttime landmarks. But I have not yet found a clear third party reference to document this history, although you can find citations mentioning that it used to be called the Cities Service Building. If anyone can find a clear mention of the building's original purpose, it would be helpful to establish the notability of the building. Arxiloxos (talk) 05:15, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citations located for the building's history and its status as a local "landmark"; changes implemented, "notability questioned" notice deleted. Arxiloxos (talk) 23:45, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
