"Professor of botany" at Alabama?

The article states he was "Alabama Polytechnic Institute (professor of botany, 1906-1912)", but gives no source for this title, neither for the dates. Yet the title page of his 1911 monograph on "Guayule" ^[1] states that he is "Professor of Plant Physiology, Alabama Polytechnic Institute". Should I simply replace the given title with "Professor of Plant Physiology" and the reference? yoyo (talk) 04:05, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
