In 1969/70, 2 and 4 flights based in North Yorkshire at separate locations 4flt at Barnardcastle, 2 flight just of the A1. In 1970, they came together at R A F. Topcliff. As 660 sqn, 4 regt Army Air Corps. Then 1970/71. Relocated to. B.A.O. R. Taking over a small grass air field from the vacating Canadian forces. ( which they shared with a German gliding club ).
