Ronnie Winter, was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1982, is the lead singer of the Emo Rock Alternative band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. A very talented musician, Ronnie is inspired by the beauty of all objects. He claims that Inspection 12, another Jacksonville band, inspired him to begin sharing his music. When the band first started off they practiced in Ronnie's trailer in Middleburg, Florida. He and the rest of the members still reside in Middleburg when not on tour.

Winter has made no secret of his love for collecting starwars toys-- a growing collection which he loves.

Ronnie also supports the fur-free pledge. He said he honestly hates people wearing fur. Ronnie also found out that the fur from china is made out dog and cat fur! That really surprised him and he would like for people [who wear fur] should now. her just look at this

interview--What do you think about people who purchase and wear fur?

Ronnie--I don’t think it’s cool. I don’t think they should be doing it, but that’s just me.

interview--Some people don’t know that a lot of fur comes from China and is actually made from cats and dogs. They buy it in the U.S. and see the China tag but have no idea what that can mean. Do you think that if people knew this, they would think differently about fur?

Ronnie--Wow! Yeah, I think so. I didn’t know that, and it makes me feel weird. I don’t wear fur, but I think the next time I see someone wearing a fur coat, I’ll probably think about a dog or cat. They should tell those people [that wear fur].

Interview--Do you think people should take action to help animals by doing things like volunteering at shelters, refusing to wear fur, etc.?

Ronnie--Yeah, I would definitely say that I support that! I’ve never been an activist per se, but my wife and I have always been extremely friendly to animals. We have a few animals of our own.

interview--What are their names, and do you have any funny stories to share about them?

Ronnie--Three dogs named Applehead, Ralph, and Pita and a Siamese cat named Franklin. The first time I ever picked up Ralph, he puked on my shirt, and that’s why I called him “Ralph.”

When playing a show at the University of California, Santa Barbara in February 2007, he revealed he went to college for one semester before dropping out to become the lead singer of his band. Ronnie got married to a beautiful woman by the name of Staci in July 2006 while the band was on tour.
