Coal supply from railway

Photographs (at least in later years) suggest that there was no connection to the MR line thus any railway supply would have been from the adjacent Willesden yard. One of the referenced photographs seems to show a missing bridge and interrupted track over the canal (war damage?) but to reach the power station over that route (which is now in use for a north-facing connection into Willesden yard) either an undesirable reversing movement would have been needed or a crossover to enable access to/from the Acton Wells Junction direction. Current Google Earth has what looks like an old track bed from Willesden yard running down the east side of the site.--MBRZ48 (talk) 05:59, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
