Aerology should not be redirected

The term Aerology should not be redirected for the following reasons:

Aerology is a term defined by the glossary of the American Meteorological Society see: http://glossary.ametsoc.org/wiki/Aerology The study of the free atmosphere throughout its vertical extent, as distinguished from studies confined to the layer of the atmosphere adjacent to the earth's surface.
Aerology is used in other wikipedia projects
Aerology is used at least in the historical literature

However by the US Navy Aerology had been used as a synonym for meteorology ArchibaldWagner (talk) 06:58, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
