Aho-Girl stylization

[edit]

Although the English manga has listed the series as Ahogaru: Clueless Girl, the cover of the English version shows Aho-Girl in the style of a dictionary entry. [1]. So the hyphen may become the common title instead of Ahogaru. Will wait for the Crunchyroll release in July to see if Crunchyroll also calls it Aho-Girl or Aho Girl. Naming of series

[edit]

I believe that the current name of this article should be Aho-Girl, with a hyphen. With official releases, Kodansha Comics has released the title as Aho-Girl, with a hyphen used ([2]), and Crunchyroll has streamed the series as AHO-GIRL ([3]), also hyphenated. Chairwoman as listed in summaries?

[edit]

Should we continue to refer to Chairwoman as Chairwoman in the anime summaries?

  • manga in English says Head Monitor, so I changed that in the manga section: [4]
  • anime in Japanese media has merchandise that lists Fuki Iincho as her English typed name. [5] which literally translates to morals chairman
  • anime in Crunchyroll English subtitles says Discipline Committee President

Any thoughts? I'm okay with it as it's clear who they mean and isn't vague like President, which could be student council president. I'm also okay with Fuki Iincho although the subtitles don't use that. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 14:31, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

B-class assessment

[edit]

Here's my preliminary assessment:

  • B1. The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations. (TBD) The airdates and writers for the anime series should be generally referenced. Is the episode director known or is he/she the same person throughout the series?
  • B2. The article reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain obvious omissions or inaccuracies.  Not done. It is missing a criticism section on the manga and anime. Also no information on the development of the series, and how it came about. Also need Home media section since DVDs should be coming out.
  • B3. The article has a defined structure. (TBD) I'll let another editor figure this one out and if it can be improved.
  • B4. The article is reasonably well-written.  Done Prose is okay.
  • B5. The article contains supporting materials where appropriate.  Done Not much information besides the cover picture, but this might have to do.
  • B6. The article presents its content in an appropriately understandable way.  Done

As a primary editor of the article, it should be reviewed by another editor in case I'm way off on any of these criteria. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 00:27, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Episode director is the same throughout the anime series. So this is done. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 01:16, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
