Coleman Jett "Coly" Goin
[edit]This subspecies of turtle was described by Roger Conant and Coleman J. Goin. There is a WP article for Conant but none for Goin. Goin and his wife, Olive Bown Goin, made important contributions to herpetology, including writing a textbook of herpetology in 1971. Perhaps someone could write a WP article about "Coly" and Olive.74.109.236.194 (talk) 17:59, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Article name
[edit]The IUCN turtle working group now call this Northern spiny softshell turtle(Apalone spinifera spinifera) and treats hartwegi as a synonym. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 22:36, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
