29 varsity sports?

[edit]

This http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan_State_Spartans article says that there are currently only 25, which rings truer to me (as an alum) as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.105.154 (talk) 00:51, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Football national championships

[edit]

Should be ACTUAL championship designations, not votes from individual pollsters. To wit - the 1979 champions were Alabama and USC. Michigan State finished 12 in the AP and unranked in the Coaches poll, the two major polls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1978_NCAA_Division_I-A_football_rankings This list is a work of fiction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.98.13.113 (talk) 18:45, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lacrosse

[edit]

Once upon a time MSU had a Men's Lacrosse team and I think it won a few league titles (not the Big Ten, but some Lacrosse-specific league). I don't know the details, I was hoping to find them here but I did not. MrArticleOne (talk) 03:53, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
