Removed line about adaptation

[edit]

I don't think adaptation is considered a biological process. Adaptation is a meta property that describes life over multiple generations. Maybe the person who added that was thinking of Phenotypic plasticity? I'd be open to that if someone can find a source describing plasticity as a biological process.
