Request for link to non-profit tutorials

I would ask some Wikipedian to review the following, consider adding an external link to it from the article:

The Google system seems to think it is okay... search on "openoffice database tutorial", and you should see it near the top of the first page.

The tutorial only teaches how to add an image into a record but the software doesn't seem to have a function to remove the image. If the image is to be removed, it has to be done through removing the record, right? --124.78.208.240 (talk) 12:22, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Moved discussion about Base Usability to wikibooks

This program has proven to be completely counter-intuitive and a nuisance in general. I hate to choose Microsoft over open source, but there's really no excuse for how difficult they've made it to create a simple database. (unsigned)

I think usability fits more in the wikibook about Openoffice base at and I've moved it to that talk page, where my full reply is. OpenOffice.org Base.

once apache relases aoo 3.4 i think we should change the openoffice screenshots from apache-open-office (aoo) running in ubuntu to aoo running in windows.

my rationale is that aoo is soon to become primarily a windows app. all linux distros have abandoned it and moved to libreoffice, therfore the article should not show aoo running ubuntu because this is misleading and not the most repsentative example of the aoo interface.
