Removed stub designation; the article is now describes the orchestra about as completely as it can be described, absent a roster of musicians. GeeZee 15:53, 14 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dunno if its worth mentioning in the article, but in the early 80's (I may be off on the timing here) Frank Zappa "rented" the BPO for a couple of days to work on some ideas that he later recorded in his famous work with the London Symphony Orchestra.
