Breaking up

[edit]

According to this press release, it looks like GE Industrial is being broken up into two businesses: GE Enterprise Solutions and GE Consumer & Industrial. I don't know if Consumer & Industrial will be the name of that business. The list of companies (business units?) listed for the GE Enterprise Solutions business matches the list for GE Industrial (minus Consumer & Industrial), although I don't know if Multilin and Power Quality are moving in from someplace else or if they already exist in GE Industrial. Do we start a new GE Enterprise Solutions topic or do we rename GE Industrial? --Ishi Gustaedr 18:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
