Possible flooding after volcanic eruption

This [1] article suggests there are some concerns after 2011 Puyehue volcanic eruption that the river may flood and possible damage dams downstream. Presumably they are refering to this Pilmaiquén Hydroelectric Plant? Though that does look fairly far downstream with a lake first. EdwardLane (talk) 11:02, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The BBC reports "There are concerns that a heavy build-up of ash could clog waterways like the already silt-heavy Golgol river in Chile, leading to flash flooding" as the caption of one of it's photos - here [2] the phot is called Dust on the Golgol river in Osorno, Chile (7 June 2011) EdwardLane (talk) 10:50, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
