Japanese has no "L"

[edit]

Japanese has no "L". ラフレシア, Rafureshia basically is Rafflesia as far as I can tell. ウィキペディア backs me up. Changing article.--ZayZayEM 01:08, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, we know. It's just...in this context, it's officially Romanized as "Ruffresia". And "Ruffresia" is not Japanese, per se, but Rafureshia is. In any case, what was wrong with saying "Ruffresia" is a reference to "Rufflesia"?—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 19:41, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If there's no official citation to say it is romanized to "Ruffresia" in Japanese, then it is not "Ruffresia" in Japanese. This is simply because words can be romanized in many different ways, and choosing one without official recognition is original research. --Teggles 23:34, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Uh, Ruffresia is the official trademarked romaji. All the Pokémon trademarks can be found on the Industrial Property Digital Library. The only problem is that site is also Japanese. --Sonic Mew 00:02, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plant characters

[edit]

I just noticed that Vileplume is included in the category for plant-based characters. By that logic, it seems that every-single Grass-type Pokémon should be in that category, but that would be too tedious. Perhaps Vileplume should be taken out and the Grass Pokémon category should be included as a sub-category instead... --Luigifan 14:00, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Grass Pokémon category is already in Category:Plant characters. I'm going to remove Vileplume now, then. --Luigifan 14:06, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
