Eachan — means "horseman"

[edit]

Eachan — (eh-kawn?) "horseman" (In old Irish). Why isn't the meaning of "Eachan" put in the article?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.95.150 (talk) 02:05, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no mention of an Eachan in this article. As the article points out, Iveagh derives from Uíbh Eachach, which it also clearly states means "descendants of Echu". If you have a source that informs what Echu means then a line of so can go into Iveagh#Uíbh Eachach Cobha section. Mabuska (talk) 22:16, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
