Wrong photo: L-47 was a Lohner type T[edit]

The photo of L-47 is a photo of a Lohner T-type. L-47 was the KuK Kriegsmarine (Austro-Hungarian Navy) serial number, which had no relation to the manufacturer type. L-47 was the 47th aircraft the KuK Kriegsmarine ordered. See http://www.kuk-kriegsmarine.at/seeflieger3.htm for a good explanation. It's a common confusion, because by coincidence, Navy serial numbers L-40 through L-45 *were* also Lohner type L's.

KuK Serial Number Manufacturer Aircraft type
L-40 to L-45 Lohner L
L-46 to L-57 Lohner T
L-58 to L-143 Lohner Te
Etc.

I can't remember what the L stood for, but it wasn't alphabetical (the KuK series M preceded it, and both the G and K series followed) and it was not a reference to Lohner, as there were Lohners in the E-series as well.

Best,
