Bad example

[edit]

Charlie Brown never got to kick the football, as I recall. That was done by a different cartoonist as a tribute when many cartoonists honored Schultz after his passing. According to CNN (granted, not a cartoon authority but reputable nonetheless) it never happened. Edit: "... he did after Charles Schultz died. His son (I believe it was his son) created one more new strip in honor of his dad and Charlie Brown kicked the football." Schultz himself never allowed it. - Agentdenim 14:08, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Marrying Irving as a series resolution

[edit]

I think a section should be added about using the Marrying Irving Technique to resolve a series - that is, the long-tension throughout the series is resolves, eg. Ross and Rachel getting back together in the last episode of Friends.--Ralphy512
