[edit]This is a necessary article as the inhabitants of New Brunswick regularly use the term "North Shore" to designate a particular part of the province. The name regularly appears in print and might confuse an outsider. The Regiment of the Canadian Army from the area, the North Shore Regiment, had a distinguished history, including D-Day honours. A major newspaper published for many years was the North Shore Leader.
- Although I believe you completely, you still need to find sources to absolutely prove this area's naming and notability. Find an article from that newspaper, a document from the Canadian Army to show its significance and put it into the article it as a reference to the information above, which is also very useful to the article, and should also be inserted. I'll lay off the deletion, but leave the citations up for now at least; I'll come back for them if you or someone else improves the article. Also, please sign your posts on any talk page (such as this one) my typing four tildes (~~~~) after your post/response. This is a means of identification and communication on Wikipedia and is required on most non-article/talk pages. Cheers, M173627 (talk) 06:21, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Good, now instead of putting references as links, cite them as references. M173627 (talk) 23:02, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
