does this make sense as an article?

[edit]

If it's about "political suicide", the phrase, this is a very simple self-explanatory metaphor and I don't think much has been written about its use.

If it's about the concept of a politician taking some action that someone else believes will be very unpopular, I think that's too broad and nebulous a topic to write anything encyclopedic about.Pwrm (talk) 20:47, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could use examples

[edit]

Why would people commit political suicide? One reasons could be that they got so disillusioned with the whole show and were ready to sacrifice their political career for the sake of truth telling. I think it's a valid topic, and could use some examples from history of people who did it. 117.18.229.3 (talk) 08:38, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What about suicides done for political purposes?

[edit]

Such as suicide bombing, starvation protests, and that of public suicides designed to be notable, such as suicides by newscasters, in courts, at political rallies. In an american case, the one that spawned the lbtq sensitivity craze that had the political memo. Balupton (talk) 12:42, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
