Oxted tunnel
[edit]Anybody know the length of Oxted Tunnel? I believe the current "2.7km" is a typo: it should read "2.07km", giving 1 mile 22 chains. Revised wording
[edit]I am a little annoyed - the corrections I tried to make to the wording of this article, which is sub standard, have been reverted without explanation. Could someone take a look and advise what I have done wrong? See [1]. Squidnchips (talk) 15:00, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Buildings and bombing attempt
[edit]Is the building where the bombing was attempted in 1913 still standing? Beorhtwulf (talk) 11:31, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
No - the original LBSCR/SER station building was completely demolished in the late 1980's as part of the electrification work.
