Sumankumar Dash is a Bangladeshi journalist, folklore researcher and essayist.[1] He won the Bangla Academy Literary Award 2023 for Folklore.[2][3] He is the Sylhet Correspondent of The Daily Prothom Alo.[4]

Early life

Dash was born on 12 September 1982 at Sallah Upazila in Sunamganj District of Bangladesh.[5]
