Signals per day[edit]

"Thereafter it was solved using cryptanalysis for over three years. Some 1,400 signals were read during that period, an average of 12 per day." 1400 in three years is an average of under two a day. Is this a mistake or have I misunderstood what 'that period' is referring to? Olaf Davis | Talk 19:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No response so I removed it. Olaf Davis | Talk 17:37, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Reserve Hand Procedure"? Did you get that from Google Translate?[edit]

Reserve=fall-back, backup, spare

Hand=by hand, manual

So it translates to "manual fall-back procedure". -- 78.43.60.13 (talk) 21:29, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
