Are there "smart speakers" without voice control?

[edit]

If so - what other things can they do that grants them the name "smart speak"?

See: Voice command device, voice user interface.

Hi Fixuture! Something like the Play:1 would be considered a smart speaker as it is Wi-Fi enabled. This is the definition that was previously used by myself and other editors; however, it looks like someone has changed the scope of this article to only include smart speakers with voice interaction. Adding image to main page.

[edit]

Would it be okay to add a personal image (CC) of my Google smart display to this article so it has an image?
