Station History
[edit]A more complete history of WAIF is in order, as what's currently here just skims the surface of the station's origins. A good start would be Michael William Huntsburger's "The Emergence of Community Radio in the United States: A Historical Examination of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters, 1970 to 1990":

Huntsburger's sources should lead to the rest. I need to read further myself, but my impression at this point is that WAIF is the first community station independent (though a result) of Lorenzo Milam's direct efforts. Allreet (talk) 14:03, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
