Hi Juliancolton. I will be reviewing this article this afternoon. Overall, it was a good read and a decent article that is nearly worthy of GA status. I have several issues that I would like you to fix or respond to first, but they are all minor--12george1 (talk) 22:39, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • "It weakened into a tropical depression on June 9" - I think you should say "The storm"/"The cyclone" instead of "It", because you used that three times in the previous sentence
  • Would it be worth mentioning which hurricane broke the record set by this storm for the earliest major hurricane landfall in the United States? Or is that too trivial?
  • On what basis were the maximum sustained wind speed and minimum barometric pressure estimated? Usually one is a direct observation and the other is estimated via wind-pressure relationship
  • "In New Orleans, women and children working in factories" - You already linked New Orleans in this section
  • "approximately $800,000 to vessels based in Pensacola, Florida and $750,000 in Mobile." - Comma after Florida
  • "She was found floating upside-down off Pensacola on August 12," - Pensacola was linked in the previous paragraph
  • "where collectively 250,000 acres (100,000 ha) of farmlands was inundated" - Both acres and hectares were linked earlier in this sentence
  • "but Bonifay to the northeast recorded 24.5 in (620 mm) of precipitation," - You should mention that this was also the highest recorded rainfall total from the storm (per Schoner and Molansky)
  • Reference 29 needs |via=Newspapers.com and {{open access}}
  • I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but I can't access Reference 35. This link works fine, however
@12george1: - I took care of these issues to get the article out of the GAN queue. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk · contributions) 05:24, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Everything was either fixed or addressed, so now I am going to pass this article. Thanks for finishing this, TAWX--12george1 (talk) 01:22, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
