Regarding incorrect description of the Sounder Filter Wheel

"(the filter wheel aligns the infrared detectors with the incoming data)" Folks, this is not what the filter wheel does. Go here, and read the subsection entitled "Filter Wheel," six pages in: http://goes.gsfc.nasa.gov/text/databook/section04.pdf

To summarize in a way that could be edited in, "the filter wheel rotates a series of spectral bandpass filters in front of the infrared detectors." Perhaps someone more familiar with Wikipedia standards and formatting could make this change?192.107.155.4 (talk) 15:37, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
