The Grey Nato is a podcast described as a "loose discussion of travel, adventure, diving, driving, gear, and most certainly watches!"[1] Its first episode was published on February 2, 2016, with 278 episodes published as of April 1, 2024.

Hosts

The Grey Nato is hosted by Jason Heaton and James Stacey, both journalists and writers who have been popular with the watch industry and watch collectors and enthusiasts for many years.

Jason Heaton

Heaton, who resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializes in adventure travel, outdoor gear, and wristwatches, and has over a decade of freelance writing experience for leading publications, both online and in print. He is a certified PADI Technical Diver, a partner in Submerged Archaeological Conservancy International, and a member of The Explorers Club.[2]

James Stacey

Stacey, who resides in Toronto, Canada, is a writer, photographer, and podcast host. He is currently the lead editor for Hodinkee. His work can be found in various outlets and on The Grey NATO podcast.[3]
