Adding extreme specificity about states is completely unnecessary ... that's a characteristic of American English, not Australian. Linking to states and major cities like that is also overlinking. Going in and changing major articles to conform to your idea (and yours alone) of what is right shows unfathomable arrogance. If you continue editing like this, you may be blocked.
