The U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland is the chief federal law enforcement officer for the State of Maryland. Since October 2021, the United States attorney for the District of Maryland is Erek Barron.[1]

The United States District Court for the District of Maryland has jurisdiction over all cases prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney.
