Clarification

On the main article, regarding the deletion of one own talk page or sandbox, it says this:

"If you wish to clear your user talk page or sandbox, just blank it."

Does this mean, just Edit it and delete everything (which leaves a copy in the View History page), or is there a tool that actually blanks it? Some clarification would be appreciated. Raven-14 (talk) 12:45, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

More experienced users tend to archive material they want off their talkpages rather than blanking it. How to do that can be found at WP:ARCHIVE.
