Lead needs improvement

The lead has too much emphasis on the present-day visitors' center, tours, etc.(MOS:LEADREL) and too much emphasis on slavery. (NPOV) It is not concise overview of the historical significance of the farm. The reader is still in the dark after reading it. The lead does not convey the essence what the plantation really is.
