This is a list of weapons which, while not being mainstream, were used in significant enough numbers to warrant mention.

  • Inglis Browning semi-auto pistol
  • MG81 medium machine gun
  • FG42 light machine gun
  • SSPPK 1277German Waffen- 7.65 semi auto pistol
  • Pistole 657(n):Licenced copy of the Colt 1911, orginally made in Norway by Kongsberg for the Norwegian armed forces, kept in production and issued to the Germans during WW2 following the German invasion and occupation of Norway. Some 7 000 were made during the German occupation. [1] [2]

Prototype weapons

Weapons that never saw real service in World War II. Usually prototypes, it also includes those that made it to trial. The production and usage of these weapons was very low.
