The 2023 Reasi attack was a terrorist attack on Hindu pilgrims that occurred on 9 June 2024, Terrorists ambushed a bus transporting Hindu pilgrims from the Shiv Khori cave to Katra, Reasi,[1] causing it to crash and kill nine of its occupants. An additional 33 were injured, and no group claimed responsibility for the attack.[2]

Attack

At approximately 6:10 p.m. on 9 June, militants armed with firearms ambushed a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims in Teryath village, shooting indiscriminately. The driver was struck by gunfire, causing them to lose control and slide into a gorge.[3]
