Stephen Osho (Born August 1977) is a Nigerian financial expert and Co-Managing Partner at Comercio Partners Limited. He serves as the managing director of Comercio Partners Capital Limited.[1][2] Osho is a board member of Avale Africa, a platform that promotes corporate and NGO initiatives focused on social responsibility.[3][4]
Career
Stephen Osho was the Head of Interest Rate Products and Fixed Income Business, as well as the Head of Money Market and Credit Trading Desk at Legacy Stanbic Bank, a subsidiary of Standard Bank Group of South Africa.[5][6] He joined Stanbic in 2002, where he managed trading and risk management activities across various asset classes in the fixed income business. During his tenure, Stanbic IBTC was awarded the Euromoney Best Bond House award in 2008, recognizing it as the best liquidity provider.[7]
Professional Contributions
Stephen is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion, having conducted training sessions for financial institutions such as the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Debt Management Office. He has expertise in trading global financial instruments[8] and providing structured finance and financial advisory services.[9][10][11]
Education
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Geophysics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State in 2012. He earned MBA in Finance and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, UK, He also holds an ACI Dealing Certificate and completed an executive business education program at Harvard Business School on designing & executing corporate revitalization.[12]
