Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School

Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School is a secondary school in the township of Grimsby in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. The school was founded in 1994 and is the westernmost secondary school in the Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB). The current principal of Blessed Trinity is James Whittard, who entered the role in 2021. His predecessor, Joe Zaroda, became the Superintendent of Education for the NCDSB. The school, which has a student body of approximately 1,000 students, is located adjacent to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.

Robotics Team

Blessed Trinity's robotics team has won multiple gold medals at the NCDSB Technological Skills Competition. In 2020, Blessed Trinity's primary robotics team, 9599A, placed first at the NCDSB Technological Skills Competition. Blessed Trinity's secondary and tertiary teams, 9599B and 9599C, placed second and third, respectively. The 2021 NCDSB Technological Skills Competition did not have a robotics category due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The team is coached by Jimmy Yip, a computer science teacher and former actor.
