Welcome to my page of fun facts about various subjects you'll find across Wikipedia! Though I will admit the original WP:DYK said it's not for random trivia, I find it more attractive to use the phrase "Did You Know?" then just say "trivia". That being said, here are those fun facts for your reading pleasure!

The Real Ghostbusters & the 1987 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles share some things on common. From the firehouse to a living room in the sewer, here are a few things You'll find in both series:

  • Both hero teams live in New York City.
  • Both hero teams have 4 members.
  • Both hero teams are assisted by a lady -- Janine_Melnitz for Ghostbusters and April_O'Neil for Ninja Turtles.
  • Both series were animated by DIC studios.
  • Both series feature a gadget called a "transdimensional portal" engineered by Egon & Donatello, respectively.
In Ghostbusters it features in Copycat and in Ninja Turtles Mister Ogg Goes to Town.
  • Both series have an episode titled Beneath These Streets.
  • Both series have a character named Casey Jones. Although CJ appears as a ghost train conductor in only one Ghostbusters episode, CJ with the hockey mask appears more commonplace in Ninja Turtles and even appears in the 1990 live action movie.
