Though I will admit the original WP:DYK said it's not for random trivia, I find it more attractive to use the phrase "Did You Know?" then just say "trivia". That being said, here are those fun facts for your reading pleasure!
The Real Ghostbusters & the 1987 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles share some things on common. From the firehouse to a living room in the sewer, here are a few things You'll find in both series:
- Both hero teams live in New York City.
- Both hero teams have 4 members.
- Both hero teams are assisted by a lady -- Janine_Melnitz for Ghostbusters and April_O'Neil for Ninja Turtles.
- Both series were animated by DIC studios.
- Both series feature a gadget called a "transdimensional portal" engineered by Egon & Donatello, respectively.
- In Ghostbusters it features in Copycat and in Ninja Turtles Mister Ogg Goes to Town.
- Both series have an episode titled Beneath These Streets.
- Both series have a character named Casey Jones. Although CJ appears as a ghost train conductor in only one Ghostbusters episode, CJ with the hockey mask appears more commonplace in Ninja Turtles and even appears in the 1990 live action movie.

- The Seattle Mariners lost 2–1 the Chicago White Sox in Chicago that day[1] in the midst of their first playoff run. Their performance eventually would ensure a new ballpark in Seattle would be built.
