Elizabeth Jarvis,[1] known as Liz Jarvis, is a British Liberal Democrat politician who has been Member of Parliament for Eastleigh since 2024.[2] She gained the seat from the Conservatives.[3]

Early life

Jarvis was born to a social worker mother of Irish parentage and a military officer father from Hampshire, England. The first in her family to go to university, Jarvis graduated from the University of Essex in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in American literature.[4] She began her career in journalism.
