Tal Bruno is former American professional lacrosse player with the New England Blackwolves. He was drafted into the National Lacrosse League (NLL) in the 3rd Round, 34th overall following his collegiate career with the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays. He also played with the Atlas LC in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).

Early Career and Education

Bruno grew up in Lutherville, Maryland and was recognized as a top short-stick defensive midfielder at Boys Latin[1]. He was named an Under-Armour All-American as a senior and ranked #32 among freshmen nationally by Inside Lacrosse in 2015[2].

College Career

Bruno played consistently as a short-stick defensive midfielder with the Blue Jays. Throughout his collegiate career, he played in a total of 54 games; picking up a total of 37 ground balls, scoring 3 goals and recording 1 assist[3]. He was named an Academic All Big Ten in 2016 and 2017[3].

Professional Career

Tal Bruno was drafted into the NLL by New England after the Georgia Swarm traded the 34th overall pick to the Blackwolves[4]. In 2019, Bruno was named a member of the Atlas LC's inaugural roster in the PLL[5].
