Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 14:41, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawal from the EU

There is a permanent tension in Wikipedia articles between giving a digestible overview versus comprehensive accurate detail. One of the ways we cope is to use footnotes. The other way is to refer readers off to another, more detailed, article. To do nothing risks readers just giving up. The article is long and I'm afraid the Algeria story, while interesting, relevant and now clear (thank you!), can't be given undue prominence. (For the formal policy statement, see WP:UNDUE.) So I hope you will understand this as the reason behind my edit to your valuable clarification.

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Sétif. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Skitash (talk) 23:59, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

August 2024

Information icon Hello, I'm Lone-078. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Neith, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Lone-078 (talk) 15:19, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
