Youti yuanshi is a fossil species of Euarthropod from the Cambrian period. The fossil of the larva was discovered in carbonate nodules from black shales of the Yu’anshan Formation from the Yunnan Province of China. The internal organs were well-preserved and were studied and described using synchrotron X-ray tomography. The specimen shows lobopod legs, and a onychophora-like peripheral haemolymph system. Based on the structures it is placed in a clade that includes Anomalocaris, Opabinia, Pambdelurion and Kerygmachela.[1]
