Brisbane Waters Secondary College is a secondary high school located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Campuses

Before Brisbane Waters Secondary College was founded, the two campuses were two totally different high schools. One located at Umina (Umina High School) and one at Woy Woy (Woy Woy High School). Both schools accommodated for years 7 to 12. After several meetings between the schools, they decided they would merge to become a college as the schools were within 2 kilometres of each other. Many students and faculty members disagreed with this merge. After the announcement was made to students at Umina high they refused to go to class and congregated on the library steps. The slogan "Fuck Woy Woy!" was shouted by students and several teachers. Student Jamie Turner was the leader of this and was suspended he would have been expelled but there was no actual proof that he was the ringleader.

It was then in 2001 that the two schools combined to make Brisbane Waters Secondary College.

In 2007 the College was officially opened by the Minister for Education, Carmel Tebbutt.

The Umina High School became Brisbane Waters Secondary College - Umina Campus, for students in years 7 to 9. Woy Woy High became Brisbane Waters Secondary College - Senior Campus, for students in years 10 to 12.

The Brisbane Waters Secondary College is one of only 3 colleges in New South Wales and one of only a few in the continent. Many other schools, mainly government run schools, have recently begun to merge to become colleges, using Brisbane Waters Secondary College as its prime example.

The current principal of Umina campus is Mr. Frank Gasper. The current principal of Woy Woy campus is Mr. David Beatie. The current principal of Brisbane Waters Secondary College, both campuses, is Mr. Pat Lewis.
