• Pickled cucumber, most commonly referred to as a pickle in the US and Canada

  • Indian pickle, a type of pickle involving strong Indian spices
• Mixed pickle, various pickled fruits and vegetables (invariably including chili peppers) suspended in vegetable oil, common Indian cuisine
