About me and my account:

I am Randalp P. Williams, and I am a historian\librarian born the United Kingdom. I have lived for allmost my entire live, in Holland. I am born on July 12, 1958 in Sussex, U.K., and now live in Warns, Friesland. You can call me a bit multiculty, this way! Because on this website, very little people know me personally (I hope), I felt free to edit under my real name. I hope, nowbody miss-uses this knowlegde. Mostly military history has my special attention. Also, I read and know much about literature. I recently read Khaled Hosseini's "The Kite Runner", and I was deeply impressed by the book which was one of the best I've ever read (and I've read a lot!). I am going to edit alot to this great and wonderfull website, and I am going to make a list here, with my articles, starting right here:

My articles

And much contributions to:

And its associated articles.

Military history and literature. Those are those things which carry my special attention. Much of these articles allready excist; no big deal. I'll find those which aren't made, and I'll make 'em. Or, otherwise, improve those allready excisting!

Kite-Runner edits

I see, you were removing an article I just started. A movie has been made about the book, and the book itself is one of the finest books I've ever read, so why have you removed my information (which wasn't finished yet). I was trying to see what I can do, and planning to create more articles on the characters from this book. Other bestellers with movies attached to it, also have articles on their major-characters, and this way, I believed I was doing notrhing other than good things. Randalph P. Hi, Randalph. I created a redirect instead of deleting the article; you are free to revert me and continue to develop your article. There are different schools of thought about creating articles about the characters of a novel; a lot of editors feel that articles should only be created for characters if there is a series of multiple works, or some sort of independent notability for characters. I looked at The Kite Runner and thought that the article was a good length, by no means too long, and had plenty of information about Amir. Like I said, you can continue to develop your articles about these characters, but there are also plenty of en bloc deletions of these sorts of articles, too--you should be prepared for the possibility. People feel passionately about both ways of proceeding. Please let me know if you have any trouble reverting my redirect--the easiest way is to go to my user contributions, hit the "diff" button for my redirect, and undo the edit. Never mind it, Darkspots. I understand you completely. I shall perhaps re-create the article, or, I might not recreate it. First, I'm busy with an article on Douglas Unger. Thanks for you quick and friendly answering, by the way! Randalph P. Williams 13:27, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for beginning the article on Mr Unger. Unfortunately it contains numerous factual inaccuracies, beginning with the fact that he is not dead, and he wasn't born in 1924, and he has never won a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He was born in 1952, he is very much alive and a faculty member at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his novel Leaving the Land was a finalist for the Pulitzer, not the winner. I'll certainly pitch in when I have time to improve the article, but you do need to be more careful about your information and sources. Regards, --ShelfSkewed Talk 14:32, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, never mind it. I must have mistaken him for someone else. Glad you made the article better, my friend. It now looks great, thanks to your effords on it. It greatly improved, cheers! Randalph P. Williams 11:05, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles on Kite Runner characters

These characters really are not notable enough--there's not enough that can be written about them--to merit their own articles. I have (re)redirected them both, and I have moved (and somewhat rewritten) the Baba material to The Kite Runner, and that's where it belongs. Why create a separate page when it's not necessary, and make it harder for users to find the information? --ShelfSkewed Talk 16:01, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, now more information on the seperate characters is within the Kite Runner article, I think I can surely life with this solution, SelfSkewed. Randalph P. Williams 09:47, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

Hello H-O, Please stop canvassing for a block. Your message on WP:ANI will bring as much attention as is needed for this situation. --OnoremDil 11:52, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I suppose you are right. Randalph P. Williams 11:53, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you suppose I am right, why are you continuing to do it? --OnoremDil 12:03, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I now really quit doing it. Okay? I am stopped canvassing, and I'm not going to do it again. Sorry. I just wanted to warn some more editors, and now, I think I've warned enough admins. You are right, I need to stop, and so, I jst did. Thanks for warning me, Onorem. Randalph P. Williams 12:05, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Grazon

It very unlikely that Grazon will ever be unblocked... he abused wikipedia to support his own agenda and promote his own political ideals. Along the way he violated many different policies: WP:POV, WP:SOCK, WP:V and many behavior related policies and guidelines. Why would you want someone so disruptive to be unblocked? ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 12:25, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Everybody needs to have forgiveness. Some much more than he does. For example, check User:Haggawaga - Oegawagga. Randalph P. Williams 12:27, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
