Azrou (Arabic: أزرو) is a Moroccan small city , situated at 89 kilometers south of Fez, in the Meknès-Tafilalet region.


Toponymy and Etymology

Azrou is a geomorphologic name who expresses the relief form. Sure enough, The city's name is due to a big rocky peak ("azrou", which means rock in zayane berber) .
