About The Show

Room 401 is a television series on MTV, executive produced by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg.

Room 401 takes unaware victims into the center of mini horror movies that play out live. From the reanimation of the dead, to chain-saw mishaps, to sinister sushi experiences, each episode contains four “scares” or pranks. In this age of Computer-generated imagery (CGI) and edit room after effects, Room 401 unfolds live. The show is hosted by Jared Padalecki.

Notes

Room 401 shares a similarity with Sci Fi Channel television show, Scare Tactics. They both incorporate the "supernatural" environment, while scaring unsuspected individuals.
