Miquita Oliver
Miquita Oliver (born 25 April 1984) is a British television presenter and a former child actress. Born in Paddington, London, her mother is former Rip Rig & Panic singer and television presenter Andrea Oliver.[1]

While still studying for her GCSEs she became presenter of Channel 4 music show Popworld in 2001, co-presenting with Simon Amstell. The pair were known for employing a great deal of sarcasm when interviewing their guests.[2] She frequently fronts the T4 strand. In February 2006 it was announced that the duo would finish their run presenting the programme in April of that year.
She has previously hosted shows on both BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1's digital black music sister station 1xtra, notably covering for Sara Cox and Spoony. After winning the Radio 1 Hot Thighs of the Year award, she left her early morning show "Oneclick" to focus on TV projects. In 2006 she featured in the Music Video "All about Knowing" by Mark.S.Taylor.
In an interview she has stated that Lily Allen is her best friend, and that the two grew up together.[citation needed] When interviewing Ash for 4Play, she stated that they came 2nd to AC/DC in a "50 Bands to see Before You Die" list - in fact the list was purely alphabetical.[citation needed]
