Evangelos Venizelos

Evangelos Venizelos (Greek: Ευάγγελος Βενιζέλος) (born January 1 1957) is the former Greek Minister for Culture. He is a member of the Greek Parliament for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement; elected in the region of Thessaloniki. In private life, he was an attorney, professor and constitutional scholar.
Early life
Venizelos, originally Evangelos Knofou (he changed his name by deed poll),[1] was born in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Studies
Fluent in English and French, Venizelos holds a BA (1978) from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD (1980) from the University of Paris II-Sorbonne.
